Pitching Mechanics - Hand Break
I recently did an article for Baseball Digest Daily that talks about pitching mechanics, specifically a pitcher's hand break. Hand break is defined as the point in which the pitcher brings their throwing hand out of the glove. Texas Rangers pitching prospect Michael Main is a pitcher that displays a very late hand break. Ideally, you want to break the hands as late as you can, but Main is a guy that actually breaks his hands too late.
