A quick note on video structure…videos are edited to include only key and legitimate prospects. Time between pitches and between innings are edited out. Some commercials are left in out of respect for the companies that purchase ad buys (usually).

I use time markers for when a particular hitter comes up to bat or a certain pitcher enters the game so you don’t have to shuffle through the video looking for key players. Games are edited so you can scout and evaluate a prospect in the most convenient and quickest way possible.

SCOUTING REPORT

There is a lot of buzz surrounding Tampa Bay Rays pitching prospect Matt Moore. His arsenal of pitches is impressive and he misses bats at a pretty insane level.

This particular start showed us why Moore is so highly regarded, but also why we should exert some caution.

Despite a level of overall dominance, Moore struggles to control his stuff. This was evident in the first couple innings of play (between the 0:00 and 0:54 second marks).
