The match up between Anthony Ranaudo and Drew Pomeranz, two of the best pitching prospects in college baseball, was a dud. One couldn’t keep the ball on the ground, while the other couldn’t find the strike zone. Today, I break down Pomeranz’ performance and in the next couple days, I will follow it up with breakdown of Anthony Ranaudo’s performance.

I don’t offer extensive profiles of the LSU hitters against Pomeranz since you’ll see much more of them in later articles, but you can still see them go head-to-head against Pomeranz in the video provided.
