I use time markers for when a particular hitter comes up to bat or a certain pitcher enters the game so you don’t have to shuffle through the video looking for key players. Games are edited so you can scout and evaluate a prospect in the most convenient and quickest way possible.

Garrett Richards

The Los Angeles Angels’ selected Richards with the 42nd pick of last year’s draft out of the University of Oklahoma.

Richards has perplexed scouts throughout his career at Oklahoma. He never posted an ERA better than 6, but his stuff is electric. He has four useable pitches highlighted by a fastball with plus velocity.

But for some odd reason, he’s been very hittable. Richards has been inconsistent in commanding his stuff and he often hasn’t been able to throw strikes…
