Scouting John Lamb vs. the Ogden Raptors
PROSPECT WE’RE WATCHING – John Lamb (Royals, LHP)
A quick note on video structure…videos are edited to include only key and legitimate prospects. Time between pitches and between innings are edited out. Some commercials are left in out of respect for the companies that purchase ad buys.
I use time markers for when a particular hitter comes up to bat or a certain pitcher enters the game so you don’t have to shuffle through the video looking for key players. Games are edited so you can scout and evaluate a prospect in the most convenient and quickest way possible.
This article is an extension of the scouting reports from Kansas City’s top prospect lists with more video for readers to view.
While not the focus of the article, Dodger fans can still see some of the top hitting prospects of the Ogden Raptors (affiliate of the Los Angeles Dodgers). Prospects include the likes of Brian Ruggiano (3b), Brian Calvazos-Galvez (LF), Gorman Erickson (C), Jeremy Wise (DH), and Jerry Sands (CF).
If there is one guy to keep an eye on from Ogden, it’s Jerry Sands. This is based on age, athleticism, position, and performance not just in Ogden, but with Great Lakes of the Midwest League.
