Yea, with the addition of a killer changeup, Drabek would have 5 strikeout pitches. Not many pitchers have that kind of ability, he’s destined to be a great starter in the bigs.

Yea, thanks for the review. Just backed up my gut feeling. I just snapped him up in this fantasy league of mine. Had to give up a lot but he truly is something special. I am really high on him and rightfully so, knaw what I mean?

This kid is crazy good. I saw him pitch once when he was at AA at Reading. Normally I wouldn’t be impressed when you pitch against a buncha minor leaguers but his stuff was amazing. He’s just scary, he can really put people away, this kid is gonna be big!

P.S. This is coming from a Mets fan LOL

Yeah, these guy is something special. He’s at the cusp of a long and successful MLB career. His underlying numbers and mechanics strongly suggest that all the hype we’re hearing about him is well deserved, in fact people haven’t fully realized how valuable this guy is.

It will be interesting to see how quickly Drabek’s change-up improves in the Phillies system. Rich Dubee has done an awesome job teaching the pitch to the major league staff as has Cole Hamels. Ryan Madson’s changeup is now absolutely devastating.
