Angels pitching prospect Tyler Chatwood has received a lot of hype lately. For instance, Baseball America just named him the No. 2 prospect in the Angels organization. Now, I like Chatwood. He does a number of things well that will enable him to be a quality big league pitcher. However, I’m still not sure whether he fits in the bullpen or the rotation.

In this particular start, Chatwood started slow, struggling to throw strikes before settling in. Once he got himself into a groove, Chatwood was able to pound the strike zone. By the end of his night, Chatwood ended up throwing 74 fastballs, 70% of which were strikes (an excellent rate)
